About This Department
Jehovah's Witnesses produce Bible-based literature in more languages than any other organization on earth — over 1,000 languages and growing. The Translation Department is responsible for this extraordinary work, coordinating teams of translators at Bethel and in Remote Translation Offices (RTOs) around the world.
Translators don't just convert words — they work to communicate Bible truths accurately and naturally in each target language, making the message as clear and compelling as possible for every reader. It's one of the most impactful forms of service in the entire organization.

Who This Is For
Bilingual and multilingual publishers who are fluent in a language other than their mother tongue. Both Bethel-based and remote translation positions exist. If you speak two or more languages and want to use that gift for Jehovah, this is one of the most meaningful things you can do with it.
