About HLC and PVG
The Hospital Liaison Committee (HLC) consists of trained brothers who work with hospitals and medical teams to ensure that Jehovah's Witnesses receive the best possible medical care consistent with their Bible-based beliefs regarding blood. HLC members build relationships with medical professionals, keep up with advances in bloodless medicine, and are available around the clock to support brothers and sisters during medical emergencies.
The Patient Visitor Group (PVG) works alongside the HLC by visiting hospitalized brothers and sisters to offer spiritual encouragement and practical support during their stay.
