The Watchtower Bible School of Gilead — training missionaries for the world

About Gilead

The Watchtower Bible School of Gilead is one of the most prestigious assignments in Jehovah's organization. Since 1943, Gilead has trained thousands of missionaries who have carried the good news to remote and underserved territories around the globe.

The school runs for approximately five months and covers deep Bible study, advanced ministry training, and practical preparation for life as a missionary. Graduates are assigned to serve in countries with a greater need for Kingdom preachers — often places they've never been before.

Who This Is For

Gilead is typically open to married couples and single brothers and sisters who are already special pioneers, missionaries, or Bethel family members with strong records of full-time service. If that's not you yet — don't be discouraged! Every path at this fair can eventually lead to Gilead. Start where you are.
