Disaster Relief Committee

Bringing hope and help when it's needed most

About This Committee

When natural disasters strike — hurricanes, floods, wildfires, tornadoes — the Disaster Relief Committee mobilizes quickly to help Jehovah's Witnesses who are affected. Volunteers assess damage, coordinate cleanup and repair efforts, provide food and supplies, and most importantly, bring spiritual comfort to brothers and sisters who have lost so much.

The speed and organization of disaster relief efforts have often amazed affected communities and brought tremendous honor to Jehovah's name. Many brothers and sisters describe volunteering in disaster relief as one of the most spiritually moving experiences of their lives.
