About This Department
The Art Department at Bethel creates the illustrations, graphic designs, cover art, and visual media that appear in Jehovah's Witnesses' publications and on jw.org. From the detailed Bible scenes painted for the New World Translation and study publications to the clean graphics of digital content, the Art Department's work is seen by hundreds of millions of people.
Artists here work in traditional and digital media, creating everything from realistic oil paintings and watercolors to digital illustrations, 3D renders, infographics, and typographic layouts. It's a full creative studio dedicated entirely to helping people understand God's Word.
